Gold Level Memorials ($25,000+)
Altar of Sacrifice
The main altar features an engraving of the Sacred Heart of Jesus recalls the burning love that Jesus has for us, particularly in the Eucharist. The thorns surrounding Jesus' Heart recalls the bitter price of Jesus' gift of self which we get to receive sacramentally at every Mass.
The main altar was dedicated in memory of Mary Greaber Fitzgerald by her son, Dan Fitzgerald.
Our Lady of the Hills Statue
The statue of Our Lady of the Hills features a pewter image of Our Lady holding Jesus. Mary is in Luke 1:39 as travelling to the "hill country in haste" to meet Elizabeth as she prepared to give birth to John the Baptist. But especially here in the Midlands, Mary comes and meets us here in the "hill country" and brings Jesus to us.
