EN: Over the Christmas holidays, several dedicated volunteers from our parish generously gave their time, skills, and materials to complete two much-needed improvement projects. Rick Holden, Harold Cecil, Guiseppe Sita, and Fred Miller worked to install beautiful new vinyl flooring in four bathrooms of the Family Life Center, carefully removing, cleaning, and reinstalling the toilets in the process. At the same time, Fred Miller and Antonio Moran led a hardworking crew to rebuild the collapsing carport roof of the rectory house, preventing further damage and enhancing the beauty of our parish grounds. These projects not only improve our facilities but also reflect the spirit of generosity and care that makes Our Lady of the Hills such a special community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each volunteer for your time, dedication, and love for our parish. ES: Durante las vacaciones de Navidad, varios voluntarios dedicados de nuestra parroquia dieron generosamente su tiempo, habilidades y materiales para completar dos proyectos de mejoras muy necesarios. Rick Holden, Harold Cecil, Guiseppe Sita y Fred Miller trabajaron para instalar hermosos pisos de vinilo nuevos en cuatro baños del Centro de Vida Familiar, quitando, limpiando y reinstalando cuidadosamente los inodoros en el proceso. Al mismo tiempo, Fred Miller y Antonio Moran organizaron un equipo trabajador para reconstruir el techo derrumbado de la cochera de la casa sacerdotal, evitando más daños y mejorando la belleza de los terrenos de nuestra parroquia. Estos proyectos no solo mejoran nuestras instalaciones, sino que también reflejan el espíritu de generosidad y cuidado que hace de Nuestra Señora de las Colinas una comunidad tan especial. Desde el fondo de nuestro corazón, gracias a cada voluntario por su tiempo, dedicación y amor por nuestra parroquia.

In Loving Memory of Deacon Dennis Jones Reflection from Deacon Mark Gray & Deacon Steve Burdick In so many ways Deacon Dennis was a large part of the glue that held Our Lady of the Hills together. From the early days - without a church building - through today, Dennis was always a big part of our faith community. Our families like so many families in the parish was not shy about speaking with Deacon Dennis. His insight and caring for the people of God was a wonderful gift. Each of us have our own unique story of how Deacon Dennis and his family were there for us. Many of these personal stories often involved a sacrifice on Deacon Dennis part! Some additional Deacon Dennis Ministries you might not be aware of: Assisting then Fr Droze with the first Spanish Masses at OLOH, starting a Grief Counseling Ministry that also included future life planning now that you lost a loved one, assisting in Diaconate Formation for as sponsor, early involvement in the Cursillo movement within the state and our parish. Plus, many more individual lives that God called Deacon Dennis to assist. Deacon Dennis always wanted what was best for our parish & he was never shy about asking! What a wonderful role model Deacon Dennis was! May Almighty God welcome Dennis home and cradle Carolyn, Ellen, Susan, Anne and Thomas in their time of grief + Deacon Mark & Deacon Steve

OLH EXPECTATIONS REGARDING TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR ST PETER SCHOOL Children must attend school on a regular basis Children must maintain a C+ or numerical equivalent grade in each subject Children must be actively contributing members to a positive school environment by: Good behavior Good example Good participation in school activities Family must maintain regular attendance and contribute in a recordable way-time, talent, treasure to Our Lady of the Hills Parish. * Treasure contributions -use of church envelopes * time/talent contributions -family signs ministry sheet with time/talent needs of the parish and how they will help contribute to these needs Each family will meet with the Pastor and member(s) of the tuition assistance committee to go over the above expectations. This meeting will take place before the beginning of the new school year. The family understands that if no recordable time, talent, treasure is given the parish will not offer tuition assistance for the following year. It has been recommended by the tuition assistance committee that effective 2025 the amount of assistance does not exceed 50% of the total tuition cost. REGARDING ST. PETER SCHOOL St Peter School will send to Our Lady of the Hills Parish Tuition schedule for the 2025-26 school year Names and addresses of family, child(ren) grade levels Note: Financial Assistance is given to children in grades 5K-grade 6 Completed F.A.C.T.S. forms from each family All applications are due by February 24, 2025 Note: All applications and F.A.C.T.S. information come through St. Peter School to Our Lady of the Hill

EN: The New Evangelization Pastors and Catechists Appreciation Dinner was much more than an event; it was an opportunity to express from the heart our most sincere gratitude to those who dedicate their time, talents, and love to guide our community on the journey of faith. In a joy-filled atmosphere, we celebrated their hard work and sacrifice, recognizing the transformative impact they have on the lives of our families and parishioners. This moment reminded us that, thanks to their dedication, we continue to build together a vibrant and united community in Christ. Thank you for being light and hope for all of us!
